COUNSEL
TABLES
Each counsel table is
equipped with the following:
Monitors.
Two monitors display the
source which has been selected from the control panel, either at the evidence
cart (by counsel), or on the bench (by the court).
Microphones.
There are two microphones
on each table equipped with a privacy mute button.
PC Connection.
Each table has one
laptop connection for evidence presentation, two connections for realtime
reporting and additional power connections for personal use of a laptop during
the proceeding.
NOTE: Counsel must provide the laptops. For compatibility with the system,
laptop video settings should be 1024 x 768 pixels or lower and the monitor
refresh rate should be set to 60 hertz.
Auxiliary Connections.
Auxiliary connections are
available for connecting such things as a compact disk player, cassette player,
video camera, or VCR.
Internet Access.
Internet access is
available at counsel tables, but arrangements for its use must be made with
court staff well in advance of a court proceeding.
Realtime Court Reporting.
Realtime court reporting
connections are available at the counsel tables. These connections provide
instantaneous translation and display of live proceedings utilizing
computer-aided transcription. Your own laptop must be equipped with viewer
