ACE Program

The Accelerated Community Entry (ACE) Program is a collaborative approach to offender reentry.  The ACE Program is an accelerated, intensive program aimed at helping individuals released from federal custody reestablish themselves in the community as they embark on a term of supervised release monitored by the U.S. Probation Office and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan.

The ACE Program was designed for high-risk offenders and began in October 2005 focusing on offenders returning to Berrien County, Michigan, specifically the city of Benton Harbor.  The ACE Program was introduced to the city of Grand Rapids in March 2007, based on the success of the Benton Harbor program and to the city of Kalamazoo in January 2009.
