Telephone Call with a Prisoner

To schedule a telephone call with a prisoner, call the correctional facility and speak to the warden's administrative assistant, who will make the arrangements.

First, identify the correctional facility where the inmate is housed.  This can be done through the Michigan Department of Corrections website.  Click the Offender Search link on the left side of the screen.  Make note of the inmate's Prison ID number.

Second, to obtain the telephone number of the correctional facility, click the Prisons and Prison Services link on the left side of the Michigan Department of Corrections website.

It will usually take 24 hours to make the arrangements for a telephone call.  Calls should be scheduled to take place between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday.  When making the arrangements for the call, please have the inmate's Prison ID number available.

Additional Mediation Participants

If a non-MDOC defendant or other additional individuals (representatives of defendant state agencies) are needed to participate in a mediation, contact the Assistant Attorney General on the case.  The AAG will make arrangements for their participation.
