In Memoriam

It is with a measure of sadness that we share the passing of the Honorable Benjamin F. Gibson. Judge Gibson was appointed by President Jimmy Carter on September 26, 1979, and was the first African-American judge to serve on the bench. He served the court honorably until his retirement in 1999.
